Medical Office Technician — Certified Medical Assistant

Basic Functions

Position provides assistance to patients and providers with direct and indirect patient care. Medical Office Technician/Certified Medical Assistant works under the direction of the clinical provider and office manager.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited CAAHEP or ABHES Certified Medical Assistant course.
  • Registry by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • General knowledge or medical ethics and confidentiality.
  • Up to six months experience under the supervision of a physician in a clinical medical office setting with phlebotomy and medication administration.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Basic first aid knowledge preferred.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.

Radiologic Technologist — Physician Network

Basic Functions

Operates X-Ray equipment in the examination of patients in accordance with standard procedure and physician's instructions. Provides treatment/care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications
  • Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology School.
  • Associates Degree Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Registry eligible.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • General knowledge or medical ethics and confidentiality preferred.
  • Basic first aid knowledge preferred.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
