Peter A. Bailey, MD

Bio

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Peter A. Bailey, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He then completed his residency at McLeod Health in Florence, South Carolina.

During his residency, Dr. Bailey focused on delivering urgent and emergent medicine to patients of all ages, providing them with comprehensive care for general health concerns ranging from colds, flus and ear infections to back pain and minor traumas. He also performed suturing and abscess incision and drainage procedures. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the South Carolina Medical Association, he is certified in advanced cardiac life support, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy and pediatric advanced life support, among other certifications.
